Payment Terms

1. Payment Methods
Verticals Consulting accepts various payment methods to ensure convenience and flexibility for our clients. These include:

  • Bank Transfer: Clients can make payments directly to our designated bank account. Our bank details will be provided on the invoice.
  • Debit/Credit Card: We accept all major debit and credit cards. Payments are processed securely through Stripe Payments.
  • Purchase Orders: This option is available for clients with a turnover of at least £2mm

2. Refund Policy
As a consulting agency, our services involve significant time, effort, and resources. We strive to ensure complete client satisfaction. However, in the event of a cancellation or dissatisfaction, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Project Cancellation: If a project is cancelled by the client before work has commenced, a full refund will be issued, minus any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
  • Dissatisfaction: If the client is not satisfied with the delivered work, they must notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will endeavor to rectify the issues. If a resolution is not possible, a partial or full refund may be offered at our discretion, depending on the stage and nature of the work completed.
  • Non-Refundable Services: Certain services may be non-refundable due to their nature, such as domain registration, third-party fees, or specific custom work. These exceptions will be clearly stated in the service agreement.

3. Late Payment Policy

Timely payments are crucial for the smooth operation of our services. In the event of late payments, the following policy will apply:

  • Payment Terms: Our standard payment terms are specified within the invoice at the time of issuing.
  • Late Payment Charges: Payments overdue by more than 30 days may incur a late payment charge of 3% per month on the outstanding balance.
  • Service Suspension: Persistent late payments may result in the suspension of ongoing services and suspension of services (including, but not limited to, web hosting, cloud files, and other hosted services) until the outstanding balance is cleared.
  • Communication: We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can cause payment delays. We encourage clients to communicate with us promptly if they anticipate any delay in payment.

Retainer Policy

Verticals Consulting offers a retainer-based service model for clients who require regular, ongoing work. This model is designed to provide clients with a more competitive rate, priority service, and enhanced communication methods not typically available to ad-hoc jobs.

Retainer Terms
  • Retainer Agreement: A retainer agreement will be established, outlining the scope of work, duration, and specific terms.
  • Payment Schedule: Retainers are payable either fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on the size and nature of the project.
  • Priority Service: Clients on a retainer agreement will receive priority in scheduling and service delivery.
  • Exclusive Communication Channels: Enhanced communication methods will be available to retainer clients for more efficient and direct interactions.

Reporting and Queries
  • Regular Reporting: A detailed report of the work completed will be provided at the end of each term of the retainer (fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly).
  • Query Period: Clients will have a period of 5 working days from the receipt of the report to raise any queries or concerns regarding the work delivered.
  • Acceptance of Work: If no queries are raised within the 5-working-day period, the work detailed in the report will be considered as accepted by the client.

Payment and Service Continuity
  • Payment Due Date: Payments for retainers must be made on the due date as declared on the invoice.
  • Late Payment Consequences: If payment is not received within 48 hours of the due date, all ongoing works under the retainer will be frozen until the payment is made.
  • Resumption of Services: Services will resume once the outstanding payment is received in full. However, the resumption of services will be subject to our current schedule and availability. The allocated team may also be subject to changes due to other commitments and to ensure business continuity throughout the company.
